Verden is a rehearsal & recording studio situated in Portobello - 10 minutes drive from Edinburgh’s city centre (free parking). Established in 2004, Verden has quickly become Edinburgh’s premier studio facility. If you are new to Verden, or haven’t been here in a while, you will be amazed at the progress over the last few years.
Verden now has 7 rehearsal rooms available at an hourly rate and a state-of-the-art recording studio, as well as a repair service and gear shop selling anything you might need in your session e.g. guitar strings, drum-sticks, snacks, refreshments. Verden also provide storage space for instruments and equipment.
Our clean and comfortable rehearsal rooms range in size from small to incredibly spacious (with adjoining lounge area). As standard, all rooms are equiped with a PA, 2 microphones, a drumkit, a bass amp, 2 x guitar amps. And we’re not finished yet! We are currently developing additional rehearsal & recording facilities; keep your eye on this site for updates, or feel free to visit us in Portobello.
